My starting point is simple: you matter. Your story matters, your experience matters, your desire to heal, grow, and thrive matters. In all of our lives, however, there are times where we need help making sense of our stories and experiences. Whether it is anxiety, a major illness, the loss of a loved one, trauma, or general life transitions, I can support you in gaining a deeper sense of wholeness and well-being.
I am a board-certified Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in Maryland. I completed my masters-level training at McDaniel College. Since graduation, I have obtained extensive training in attachment, trauma, developmental trauma, and family dynamics and work with children as young as three and their families, adolescents and adults. I have completed EMDR training in order to help you process past traumatic events that are causing you distress in order to help you move forward, heal, and grow into the best version of yourself.
Underneath it all, I am also just as human as you. I am unconventional and understand that life can be messy. I am a world traveler and seek to understand and connect to other cultures and minorities. I am an ally and an advocate. It is my first priority to make our space safe and healing for you. I have been on the other side of the couch. I take an active, supportive, and collaborative approach to work with you and your family to help you heal and grow.
The journey may be difficult, but the healing will be worth it!
