So much of our daily life involves interactions and relationships with others. Often these relationships are affecting us more than we realize and may cause difficulties in the home, at work or socially. I am here to help families, couples, and individuals understand how to better manage their challenges such as depression, anxiety, personal loss, infidelity, substance abuse, and self-esteem issues. As a couples and family therapist, I am trained to focus on relational issues as well as the everyday struggles of the individual. Sometimes life just happens to us and we find ourselves feeling discouraged and worn down; it’s times like these that people benefit from having someone to help them navigate these potentially difficult and challenging issues.

While understanding that the future is what we have the ability to change, certain aspects of our past may impact our present and these issues cannot be overlooked. I am here to explore with my clients their world and to find a plan which leads to positive change in their lives. I employ an integrated model of treatment which utilizes Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Inter-generational Family Therapy, Strategic therapy, and Structural Family Therapy.

I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families as well as those in recovery from alcohol and substance abuse in private practice and community mental health settings. My goal is to help you develop clarity and insight to face your challenges and to support you in identifying and enhancing your inner strength and resilience.
