Often times, we are blinded by the fog in the relationships and life experiences we encounter. As humans, we often experience everyday stressors such as life transitions, employment, work relationships, family problems, grieving losses, parenting, depression, and health problems. If you are someone who would like to find the light amongst the fog, I invite you to come in to create a healthier version of you and your relationships.
I am a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist. I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Hampton University and a Masters degree in Family Therapy from Drexel University. I am also a board approved clinical supervisor and support training needs for other professionals.
Throughout my clinical work, I have gained experience with culturally diverse populations in a variety of treatment settings by providing individual, family, group, and couple’s therapy to adults, adolescents, and teens.
My experience has allowed me to develop a unique skill set, to promote healthy relationships by exploring personal and relational problems. I utilize a systemic approach in treatment, which considers the exploration of family of origin, psycho-social, and individual factors that impact my client’s lives. In addition, I utilize a variety of techniques, depending on the unique needs of my client. I strongly believe in fostering hope, growth, and empowerment within my clients in order to support their therapeutic goals.
