Dear Current Clients and New Referrals,
I wanted to reach out and connect with you during this critical and uncertain time. I hope everyone in your family is doing well and remains healthy. I know a lot of your businesses have been impacted and some of you may be facing unemployment and other hardships.
We’re here for you and your family. If there’s anything I can do to help support you at this time, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
As for DYWC, we are working harder than ever to reach our clients with our resources stretched desperately thin. We are taking bold steps to make our services as available as possible in this trying time.
All of our staff, advanced clinicians, and graduate level therapists are well and most are fully remote. We are reaching out through email distributions with mental health advice. Please watch for our regular updates and newsletters.
Luckily our wellness center was well equipped for the telehealth platform where we have continued to reach our clients while at home or social distancing otherwise. Our staff remain available for referrals, billing questions and other inquiries (443-653-1363) and we are accepting new clients and will assist in the telehealth process.
Of those we serve, we are seeing good and growing engagement with this new mode of service delivery as we work with our partners to bring telehealth to our clients. However, our seniors remain our most vulnerable to isolation and the threat of the virus. And, for many of our families, their histories of trauma and challenges accessing basic needs necessitate their continued access to mental health services.
Due to the high volume of calls, website inquiries and email referrals we continue recruiting and adding new providers to our team. We have 3 new providers opening their schedules in January 2021 and 1 additional provider joining in May 2021. Please see our provider page for more information on these new team members.
As always, please let us know how we can continue to support you in the meantime. Please use face coverings when possible and while in public. Please keep yourselves along with your loved ones safe and healthy. We look forward to meeting you soon again in our Columbia office.
